Medieval Faire
Come one, come all!
Calling all those with an interest in things Medieval: come in your best Medieval costume, in regular clothes, or something in between, but do come to the Medieval Faire at the Governor’s Lawn, Hamilton Gardens.
- Sunday 9 March
- 10am-2pm
- Best parking Gate 2 off Cobham Drive
- Entry by donation
Have a go at archery, see a maypole dance, and watch knights clashing in the arena for the honour of a fair maid’s favour.
Try your hand at crossing paper swords, take the plunge with a spot of hobby-horse jousting, listen to the music, sample the sausage sizzle, sup a coffee or tea, take home jewellery, or leatherwork, or choose from a selection of assorted herbs and bulbs available alongside other interesting plants.
Cash and eftpos available.
And all of this excitement surrounded by a jostling throng of all things medieval as a fundraiser for the development of the Baroque Garden. Bring ALL your friends, bring ALL your family, bring EVERYONE!
The best family-friendly events and activities are held at Hamilton Gardens.
