Your accessibility guide

At Hamilton Gardens, we're committed to ensuring everyone enjoys a comfortable and memorable visit. Whether you use a wheelchair, mobility scooter, or have other accessibility needs, we've got you covered. Please don't hesitate to contact us before or during your visit if you need assistance. We're happy to answer questions, provide directions, or offer any support you may require.

Pathway gradient

Most paths in the gardens are at less than a 1 in 12 grade. However, the paths up to the Camellia Carpark and Victoria Flower Garden are steeper and may not be suitable for mobility scooters, wheelchairs, and prams. For access to the top areas of Hamilton Gardens, we recommend parking in Camellia Carpark (Gate 2).

Caution: The Japanese Garden of Contemplation and Chinese Scholars' Garden contain paths that are inaccessible for wheelchairs, mobility scooters, prams, and strollers. Please take care if you are unsteady on your feet.

Accessibility parking options

Parking for people with limited accessibility is reserved in each of the carparks accessible from Gate 1 and Gate 2
