Hamilton Gardens will remain closed at Level 3

Hamilton City Council has announced that all community facilities, including Hamilton Gardens, will remain closed at Level 3. This is in line with Government guidelines to slow the spread of Covid-19.

The Enclosed Gardens (themed gardens), Information Centre, and the main Hamilton Gardens Pavilion building are closed to the public as they were at Level 4. The Hamilton Gardens playground and public toilets will remain closed since the virus can linger on hard surfaces. The Hamilton Gardens Cafe (privately owned) also remains closed.

Hamilton Gardens’ parkland areas remain open for fresh air and exercise. We ask that park visitors please take care to continue maintaining physical distancing.

Some of our staff will be returning to site under Level 3 and we're currently rearranging things so that they'll be able to work safely with physical distancing in place.
