It is estimated that about one in 1000 people in New Zealand have Tourette Syndrome but not all are diagnosed. Tourette’s Syndrome is a neuro-developmental disorder that results in repetitive movements or sounds that are difficult to control. Leighton was diagnosed at nine, and struggled through school with bullies. He found purpose through creativity, becoming a professional videographer, then through his viral comedy clips on Tik Tok.
