ABOUT

Seed Waikato turning three! To celebrate, we’re hosting Uncle Ticks for a live Q&A on his road to remarkable. With over 18 million Tik Tok likes, more than 1 million subscribers, and a cast member of Living with Tourette’s, Leighton’s powerful message behind his content will leave you inspired and empowered to step into your potential.

This event is for you if you’re keen to:

  • hear Leighton’s raw and authentic story
  • gain insight into the mindset and core beliefs that set him up for success
  • understand how creativity can be used to create positive wellbeing
  • discover the key ingredients it takes to turn dreams into reality
  • understand the steps you can take to overcome adversity
  • connect and learn with like-minded people to build community!

It is estimated that about one in 1000 people in New Zealand have Tourette Syndrome but not all are diagnosed. Tourette’s Syndrome is a neuro-developmental disorder that results in repetitive movements or sounds that are difficult to control. Leighton was diagnosed at nine, and struggled through school with bullies. He found purpose through creativity, becoming a professional videographer, then through his viral comedy clips on Tik Tok.
