The Friends of Hamilton Gardens is a friendly voluntary organisation of about 500 enthusiasts with a shared interest and passion for Hamilton Gardens. As an incorporated society founded in 1988 its overall aim is to promote and support the ongoing development of Hamilton Gardens and increase public awareness, use and enjoyment of Hamilton Gardens. We achieve this through a number of different projects: - Operation and promotion of the Information Centre (the gateway to the gardens). Volunteers pick times on a monthly roster. This is a great way to meet lots of people and become more familiar with the Gardens. |

- Promotion of the Gardens as a key tourist attraction. This includes guided tours throughout the gardens, hosting visiting groups, and providing up-to-date information on developments within the Gardens. - Promotion and assistance with future development of the Gardens through fundraising projects and involvement in promotional events like the Hamilton Gardens Summer Festival and Right Bank Arts Festival. - We also have a lot of fun catching up with all "Friends" members at various organised social events, garden tours outside of Hamilton and training days. The "Friends" believe that Hamilton Gardens is the most attractive and exciting project and tourist attraction in the Waikato and are proud to be involved. How Do I Join the "Friends"?
